Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using SpendSafe Daily. By using the service you agree to be bound by them.
1. About SpendSafe Daily
SpendSafe Daily is a personal budgeting tool designed to help individuals manage their daily spending between paydays. The service is operated by J Moakley, an individual based in the United Kingdom.

2. What SpendSafe Daily is not
SpendSafe Daily is a budgeting tool only. It is not:
- Regulated financial advice or financial planning
- Authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)
- A banking service or payment service
- A substitute for professional financial advice
If you need regulated financial advice, please consult a qualified financial adviser.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use SpendSafe Daily. By creating an account you confirm that you are 18 or over and that the information you provide is accurate.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.
5. Subscription and payment
Full access to SpendSafe Daily requires a paid subscription of £4.99 per month (inclusive of any applicable tax). Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.
We reserve the right to change our pricing with at least 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
6. Your statutory rights
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a digital subscription within 14 days of purchase (the "cooling off period"), unless you have already accessed the digital content and agreed to waive this right. By accessing the dashboard after payment, you acknowledge that the service has begun and you agree to waive your right to a 14-day cancellation refund.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use SpendSafe Daily to:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, copy or reproduce the service
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
8. Limitation of liability
SpendSafe Daily provides information to help you manage your spending. We are not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on the information provided by the app. You use the service at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
9. Service availability
We aim to keep SpendSafe Daily available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will not be liable for any loss arising from service interruptions.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
